What is the two chairs project?

The Two Chairs Project is an Arts Council funded arts project looking to get Mobility Centre patients to share their story through art.

Don’t worry – to get involved you don’t need to be a painting expert, or even have any experience with art at all! You will be supported by experienced artists and healthcare professionals the whole way through. This process will include the following FREE, FULLY FUNDED and COMPLETELY OPTIONAL opportunities:

  • Art workshops – these will be fun, relaxed and accessible
  • Opportunities to share your story on social media
  • Potential for a bespoke portrait painting of yourself, to eventually be exhibited in a local Nottingham gallery
  • A special guest invite to the exhibition open evening!

So all you need to do is turn up – and everyone is invited to join in!
