Abi Bash is a contemporary portrait painter currently based in Nottingham. Her practice explores the intersection of psychotherapy and portraiture, drawing on ideas from psychoanalysis to reframe the relationship between artist and sitter. She holds a BA in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University.
